What is the Workshop About?
Publishing From A to Z is a writing workshop designed to help anyone who plans to have their works published. Whether you are seeking a book contract with a mainstream publisher or would like to self publish your own works, the workshop will share everything you need to know and the steps you need to take in order to make your publishing dream a reality, making you 'published ready' before your book hits the bookstore.
The workshop is broken into two (2) sessions:
Where does it take place?
The workshop will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at A Gathering Place, located at 164 Roswell Street, Marietta, Georgia. There will be two sessions, Self Publishing at 10 am and Getting a Book Contract at 2 pm.
Who Is The Workshop For?
It’s for anyone who has the desire to become a published author.
Does It Matter What I Want To Write About?
No. The workshop deals specifically with publishing and getting published. It is not genre specific.
I’ve Already Started Writing Something. Is This Workshop A Good Fit For Me?
Yes, if you would like to see your work in print. This workshop will provide you with bona fide tips, tools and methods that will assist you in the wide world of publishing.
Is The Workshop Hard?
No, not at all. We believe fun and laughter is a wonderful way to engage people and so we use a lot of that. Writing can be a serious thing but we always bring in the fun! Don’t be surprised if the instructor breaks out in a song and dance!
Do You Give Other Types of Workshops?
Yes. We offer workshops for all stages of writing: beginner, novice, aspiring and published. If you would like to know more about them, you can send an email inquiry to: mjhwritingworkshops@yahoo.com.

- "Publish Your Own Book" in the morning: Start Time 10 am
- "Getting a Publishing Contract" in the afternoon: Start Time 2 pm
- For those taking both sessions, there will be a break in between for you to go and get lunch. Please note: Lunch will not be provided.
